Job description

Devertix is looking for a full stack developer to work on applications running in the cloud.

You would join a team of developers with backgrounds in various programming languages. We also have teams of capable Cloud Engineers and DevOps experts.

Responsibilities

  • Developing external and internal applications running mostly on AWS
  • Work on both the backend and frontend side
  • Work together with fellow developers and occasionally with our DevOps team
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback
  • Follow and improve best practices
  • Test your code thoroughly
  • Stay up to date with new trends in web development
  • Participate in and contribute to project planning discussions
  • Work together with fellow developers and occasionally with our DevOps team
  • With the aid of the company and your colleagues, work towards getting AWS Developer and other relevant certification(s)

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in software/web development
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience with NodeJs and React
  • Openness to work with new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least strong intermediate English (B2)

Nice to have

  • Able to make well reasoned decisions on project structures and technology (SSG vs SSR vs CSR, CRA vs Vite, etc.)
  • Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL
  • Experience with Express
  • Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, Angular.js)
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind or other popular frontend frameworks
  • Familiarity with any package manager (e.g. NPM, Yarn), or build tool (e.g. Webpack, Grunt, Gulp)
  • Experience in building cloud native applications
